Who this isn't for
We'd rather you know before you order.
- You want full modest coverage. The tulle skirt is sheer, so it adds a little coverage, not full coverage.
- You need sun protection. We haven't tested the fabric for UPF, so we make no sun-protection claim.
- You're outside the size range. It runs M to XL on an Asian size chart, and XL is made for 50 to 55 kg. If you're outside that, this piece won't fit you well, and we'd rather say so now.
- You like a plain, minimal cut. The tulle ruffle neckline and corset lace-up waist are the whole point of this piece.
Questions before you buy
How do I choose my size?
Aveline follows Asian sizing, which typically fits smaller than Australian sizes, so don’t go by your usual size. Use the fitting guide above and match your height and weight.
Soirée runs M to XL and is made for 40 to 55 kg. If you are between two sizes, size up.
Sizes are a guide only, with a measurement tolerance of about 1 to 3 cm. Not sure? Message us your height and weight and we’ll tell you which size to pick.
What if it doesn’t fit? Can I return it?
Yes. You can return unworn items within 14 days of delivery, for a refund of the item price or an exchange. You cover the return postage, so check the fitting guide first or message us if you’re unsure.

How much does it actually cover?
A sheer tulle skirt floating over a fitted bodice, a gathered tulle ruffle at the neckline, and thin adjustable straps. A lace-up corset waist draws in the shape.
This is not full modest wear. Aveline gets its cover from the cut, not from more fabric, and the mesh and tulle are sheer by design. We haven’t tested the fabric for UPF, so we make no sun-protection claim.
Will it show through when it’s wet?
The tulle skirt and the ruffle neckline are sheer by design. The shell and lining are quick-dry polyester.
We haven’t published wet-test photos yet, so we won’t promise it stays opaque when wet. If this matters to you, message us before you order.
Will it stay in place when I swim?
The bust is padded with no underwire, the straps are thin and adjustable, and the corset waist laces up. Set the straps and the lacing before you get in the water.

Can I buy it now, and when will it arrive?
Not yet. Aveline is a small first release and isn’t on sale yet. Join the waitlist on the home page to get first pick of sizes and a $10 launch gift.
When it opens, standard shipping to Australia is free. Pieces ship from our supplier and usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks.
Who is behind Aveline?
We couldn’t find swimwear like this in Australia, so we started Aveline. It’s a small first release, with no big warehouse behind it, and a real person answers every email at info@avelineswimwear.com.
How do I look after it?
Rinse in cool fresh water after swimming, hand wash cold (no warmer than 30°C) and dry in the shade. Don’t bleach, machine wash or iron.
